Privacy Policy for High West Lending LinkedIn Publishing Tool
Effective date: April 3, 2026
High West Lending (“we,” “our,” or “us”) uses this internal publishing tool to help authorized team members create and publish content to LinkedIn, including personal LinkedIn profiles and the High West Lending LinkedIn Page. This tool is intended for internal business use only by authorized personnel.
Information we access
When an authorized user connects their LinkedIn account, this application may access limited LinkedIn account information and permissions necessary to authenticate the user and publish content on the user’s behalf or on behalf of a LinkedIn Page the user is authorized to manage. LinkedIn requires user consent for applications requesting this type of access.
How we use information
We use LinkedIn account access solely to:
Authenticate authorized internal users.
Publish, schedule, or manage LinkedIn posts for the authorized user’s profile.
Publish, schedule, or manage posts for the High West Lending LinkedIn Page where permitted.
Maintain basic internal records needed to operate the publishing workflow.
Internal-only use
This application is not a public consumer product and is not intended for general public use. Access is restricted to authorized personnel and approved internal workflows.
Data sharing
We do not sell LinkedIn-derived personal data. We do not share LinkedIn-derived data with unrelated third parties except as necessary to operate the service, comply with law, protect rights, or work with service providers supporting our internal systems under appropriate confidentiality and security controls. Guidance for OAuth/privacy policies generally requires transparent disclosure of data use and sharing practices.
Data storage and retention
We may store access tokens, account identifiers, post metadata, logs, and related operational data only as needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve this internal publishing workflow. We retain such information only for as long as reasonably necessary for business and compliance purposes, after which it may be deleted or anonymized where practical. LinkedIn’s developer guidance emphasizes transparency when storing profile-related data and linking that practice to the privacy policy.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information used by this application, including restricting access to authorized personnel and keeping sensitive credentials such as client secrets and access tokens in secure systems. OAuth and privacy guidance commonly expects clear disclosure of security practices protecting user data.
User choices
Authorized users may revoke the application’s access through LinkedIn account settings or by contacting us. If access is revoked, the application may no longer be able to publish or manage LinkedIn content on that user’s behalf. LinkedIn explains that third-party applications operate based on member-granted permissions.
Third-party platforms
This tool connects to LinkedIn and may rely on infrastructure or software providers that support our internal systems. Use of LinkedIn remains subject to LinkedIn’s own terms and privacy practices.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or platform changes. The updated version will be posted at the same URL with a revised effective date. General privacy-policy guidance recommends keeping policies accessible and current.
