Corey Dutton is the founder of High West Lending, formerly Private Money Utah, and a leading private money lender in the western U.S. With a background in investment management at Bray-Conn Inc. prior to the 2008 financial crisis, Corey launched her lending business during a time when traditional banks were collapsing, helping real estate investors secure funding for foreclosures and FDIC asset purchases.
Known for her fast, honest, and no-nonsense approach, Corey is a trusted expert in hard money lending. She’s a member of the American Association of Private Lenders, former Ethics Committee member, and Vice President of the Salt Lake Real Estate Investor’s Association. Corey holds an MBA from Thunderbird, contributes regularly to industry publications like Scotsman Guide, and produces educational content for investors.
A native of Austin, Texas, she now lives in Utah, where she enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, and leading trail development efforts as President of a local trails foundation.
